Judge Elroy A. James will bring experience, dedication, and focus to the bench in Civil District Court. Judge James understands the experiences of people in New Orleans who work hard and want the best for their families. He worked in fast food restaurants and supermarkets during high school and college, and eventually became a lawyer, practicing both as a plaintiff and defense attorney.
